Gym Time

Annette Bishop’s philosophy is to provide a safe, secure environment for children to learn and have fun.

Integrating physical activity through gym time into young children’s lives is essential for creating a foundation of movement and activity that they will carry with them throughout the rest of their lives.  In addition, movement also assists in the teaching and retention of curriculum concepts for children that need alternative methods of learning.

Physically active children learn habits in early childhood that greatly increase their chances of remaining physically active throughout their young adult and teenage years and into adulthood.

Annette’s Preschool offers the following Gym Time Activities:

  • Balls / Hula Hoops / Bean Bags / Parachute
  • Literacy & Number Movement Games
    • Games specifically developed by Annette Bishop to teach and reinforce number & literacy concepts.
  • Cooperative Games
  • Playground Time

Physical Education is an integral component of Annette’s Preschool geared towards a total learning experience for students.
